Observe and document (images, videos, maps, etc.) the means of transportation available in Pontevedra. Analyze the pros and cons from an Economic, Environmental, and Practical point of view.

What idea could you develop, and with what arrangements?

5. FINAL ELABORATE:
Create dissemination and awareness-raising materials (brochures, videos, posters, etc.) to share upon return with public entities involved in the field of transportation and environmental sustainability, along with a video testimonial of the experience shared with Italian and Spanish students.

Advantages bus:

You can reach any palce at a low cost (1.70 Euro), the routes concetrated in the city centre pass every 20 minutes, new electric buses have been introduced.

Disadvantages bus:

They do not respect the estabilished arrival time, they cause delays, the bus are often broken and dirty.

Advantages train:

they are very fast and arrive anywhere, they make longer routes whit fewer stops compared to buses.

Disadvantages train:

They pollute the environment and the ticket is too expensive.

Advantages electric scooter:

They are easily found throughout the city, and you can cover a route for a low price.

Furthermore, the city is full of cycle paths.

Disadvantages electric scooter:

Has a limit to respect and can only ride on cycle paths or specificaly designated for that means of trasport.

Advantages bike sharing:

Thanks to the cycle paths you can get to the place you want and they are low cost, and they don't pollute.

Disadvantages bike sharing:

it can you be used when the weather is good and is not very comfortable.

To move around the city in Arezzo there are common types of transportation such as:

1. on foot 🦶🏼: in the centre there are a lot of space for people to walk and to navigate without using google maps, because you can easily find the places you want to visit.

2. by bus 🚎:in arezzo there are a lot of bus stop, the drivers change their turns after the final stop, the tickets cost 1,70€. There aren’t any space for the luggage’s but we have got space for people to sit and even for disabled people&wheelchair and there are buses extra-urban bus which takes you to outside of arezzo etc...

3. on car 🚗 : the use of the car is common, there are some streets that help people to drive slowly and safely, disadvantage are that you cannot take your car to explore arezzo the way you want to because in arezzo the buildings are all together and its hard to go there in car or taxi but you can use small cars.

4. electric scooters 🛴 : this type of transportation is used mostly by young people to move around the city , because its easier and faster to arrive in your destination. To use this type of transport you have to pay some euro for 10/15 minutes of ride and its doesn’t run out of battery easily and its replaceable.

5. on train 🚆 : the station in Arezzo are not too busy and its easily accessible for everyone you can find bars and fast food restaurants inside, in the train there are spaces for each people and even a table for personal belongings etc.
