I support Democrat Jill Schiller, who was an aide in the Obama administration. In the primary, she will run against Dr. Janet Everhard and William Smith (who won the primary in 2016, despite his substandard campaign).

I support her stances on health care, gun legislation, and taxes. The only con I have found is that Dr. Janet Everhard is also a capable democratic candidate. However, Jill Schiller is endorsed by the Hamilton County Democrats and, in the videos I have seen of her, comes off as spirited and passionate. After years of having a Republican-majority Congress, it is vital that we elect a candidate in the primary who will also be able to win the general election.

There had been incidents of the Logan County sheriff and his deputies brutalizing and murdering United Mine Workers organizers. Armed miners gathered to march on Logan County.

Lainey and I worked together on the assignments on car loans and credit score--we plan on buying a Honda Fit in "passion berry pearl" and naming her Francis.

Doing this shelf work with Lainey helped me to better understand just how much a loan payment plan can affect the amount of interest I will have to pay. There is a delicate balance between creating a plan in which I can pay the bills on time (so my credit score will go up), but not such a long-term plan that I wind up paying twice as much for my car (because of interest).

The democratic governor John Cornwell, who had failed to protect the workers, attempted to convince the crowds to disperse with the same empty rhetoric he had used to get elected. When his appeals did not work, Cornwell called Federal troops to quell the rebels. Because of a post-war policy of "direct access," Cornwell was able to bypass the presidential check on his power as governor. The UMW leaders in the area, Frank Keeney and Fred Mooney, were able to stop the march before there were any casualties. This time.
