         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Independent projects- many gifted students finish tasks early and have a lot more time on their hands than the other students. Allowing them to explore a special area that they're interested in will keep them busy while their still applying knowledge.&nbsp;</div><div>-Academic Competition- involving gifted students in a competition will help students develop leadership skills as well as group dynamics.&nbsp;</div><div>-Vertical Enrichment- give the students assignments that go above and beyond, not just “more of the same”.</div><div>-Find a Mentor- finding a mentor for your gifted student will ensure that the student is challenged to their best ability, and is given the proper amount of attention that they need.</div><div>-Leveling Assignments- explore the same material with all students, but require different outcomes depending on each students abilities.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

Typically, the lessons these students are needing are not ordinarily provided by the school.<br>A gifted student may not perform well, and can be disruptive and a student who is not gifted could have straight A’s and behaves well.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
