The piano is extremely effective in conveying the mood of relief in the song, as the piano echos the singer's line in the top line in the right hand, accompanied with long arpeggiated movements in the left hand. The text setting is exquisite here, placing the words "Sweet" bar 3 and subsequently "A rainbow" and "Lord" on the highest note that the singer sings (F Nat.) almost creating an exclamation of relief to the environment he is in.
