I experienced the Lasallian charism in Ms. Libby's classroom through the balance of care, structure, and academic rigor. The class opened with an active movement prayer, which was engaging and fun! This reflected a commitment Lasallian education—mind, body, and spirit—while building a sense of shared community.

The review of homework and exam practice demonstrated a clear focus on student success and accessibility. Concepts were reinforced in a supportive, low-stress way, ensuring that students felt prepared rather than overwhelmed. The explanation of the drafting sheet for the eventual final written work modeled scaffolding, helping students understand expectations and giving them tools to succeed.

Overall, the moments that stood out most were the intentional community-building at the start of class, the clear scaffolding of academic tasks, and the structured time for student work. These practices strengthen educational outcomes by supporting student confidence; a core element of the Lasallian charism. Super fun class!!
