Very cruel things. Once he seen someone get shot in the head. Blew their brains out. He would his master and other masters beat on their slaves. Oh how careless they were about their slaves. He would hear the slaves sing to make the pain go away . Or when they are down and depressed. They sung to bring joy. He would sing to . It's would make him cry to hear the other slaves  sing because he felt the pain that they were going through. But she lived a distance away. She would travel miles to see him at night. He never knew his dad but he beloved it was a white man . Assumed it was his owner. So he was raised by his grandmother.
