In the beginning I found it difficult to get into because I thought the pacing was kind of slow and the characters unlikable. Still, as I continued reading I became more interested and even though the protagonist was a little annoying I found myself rooting for her. Love the gothic elements of the story and the presence of Manderley throughout the plot. Motifs in the book are also great.
