Learning how to learn. Allows for independent thinking. 

Minus - overload for students and teachers. Those with learning differences might not be able to grasp another topic. 
A lot of extra planning for the teacher, and taking away from other subject time.

Interesting point - If incorporated into all subjects some students may be able to manage deeper levels of understanding, so the teacher can recognise when a student is good when being creative, or this student is great at thinking within mathematics - helps to build on the skills the student already has.
If it is incorporated in to each subject this would allow for ownership of learning. 
  It allows for good progression into secondary school

negative - hard to fit in as an isolated class; better to be mixed with philosophy or English for example

interesting - arrogance: the teacher needs to be properly trained, don't want them to put their view across only.
