She was a student at the time, fighting against the raise of bus fares in the protest at ALERJ. In the middle of the chaos and flames, she saw a mum trying to run away from the fight with her baby. She went to help them because they were breathing with difficulty. At this time, she was hit by a gas bomb that came from the cops (police) that didn't obey the order to shoot to the sky. She didn't realize she was bleeding and just noticed that there was a man with a camera recording her and asking her what had happened. 

She answered she was still confused and then was taken to the hospital, where she got four stitches on her head. My friend, the mom and the baby were well. 

This episode didn't affect then, in spite of that, it made her stronger and fearless. In the next protest, the girl was there again and now she had won a ally, the woman who she had helped. Together they are the strongest.
