I came across a very good improvement. I made significant changes to my system today. Finally, I managed to make all functionalities work in a generic way. Whether the user action is add, update, delete, search, view, or export, I can now detect the API (server) response and handle the data in one single place — a single function. Based on the server response, I can now bind these changes to the UI.

My system has about 115 components or pages and each one of them has the same basic operations (add/update/delete/search/view/export) and other components have additional operation , such as approve or cancel, etc.

I decided to upgrade the basic operations first in all components and check the others operations. Because the system is large, and there are alot of relations between pages, I stared to make the enhancement step by step.

First I applied the changes to one component and run a full testing cycle. If it worked well, I would apply the same enhancements to arround 10 compoents then apply these to another 10 compoents.

The issue happened is when I apply the changes for example at compoent no 50 I discoverd that there are some enhancemnets I can make to make it beeter so I move back to the first compoent to apply these changes and make same cycle. Now and because of these changes I have some compoents with the latest enhancements and otheres with some previous enhancements and others with previous cenhancements and others without any enhancements. Now I'm planing to make all compoents now with the latest changes and I'm find away which allowed my to apply these whole changes in all compoents with minimum time.

The new building is newer and bigger than the old one. The new building has 7 floors and it fits over 700 persons. All the IT teams moved last month.

My team memebers who were in a tidy area moved to the 5th floor in the new building.

In the new office, each one has his own desk which has a phone and two screens. We didin't have these facilities in the old office.The internet is also better than it was in the old office. Our PC's had been upgraded because the old ones were old and very slow.

When my team moved to the new building, they were supossed to take the 2 floor but the management said, "No, it would be for our offices and meatings rooms.

The day when they were moving, they faced an issue in the electricity cables but the maintenance team fixed it quickly.

The new building that was in the center of the city is now beside the sea.

Actuly I like the old office where was in the center of the city because it's the nearest to my home.

Today, when I arrived at the parking area at work, one of my colleagues had taken the place in which I park my car, so I called him. After I called him he told me that his car was broken and he couldn't fix it. I asked him to come to see if we could fix the car, when he came, he needed some tools to repair the car but didin't have any tools.Fortunately, I had the tools which I bought last week.

When the issue happened, I didn't know about it. I knew after 1 hour when the network team made an annoucment in the IT group.

During the call, he discused some changes that I made and wanted to know why I made them that way.

I told him that the structure would be like that:

1- First, we must upgrade the system to meet the new features and techniques.

2- Second, we should split our shared module into reusable standalone components which will reflect our bundle size and decrease it by half.

3- Third, we should have a generic service to handle responses from the servers.

4- Fourth, we need to update our Nginx service to version 1.28 which will be a great change because it will enhance security and its option is that we can encode our files which will reflect the traffic size . Also, there will be another benefit which is using HTTPS 2 and 3 .These are the latest HTTPS versions that have the latest security roles. By making these enhancements, we will get our APP secured and it will work faster.

Today, Ali was on leave and I finished all the bugs so I started to upgrade CC today.

Now, I have just completed the first upgrade which is form VER.12 to VER.13 and it works fine. After the session, I will have to finish the second step which is from VER.13 to VER.14 and I hope to finish it today.

I'm planning to finish this upgrade in the next few days and push the changes in one push. I started the upgrade today to force Ali to let me finish the upgrade because the JHAH APP needs to be upgraded too.

This upgrade will affect my system upgrade, but I will handle it later because during the upgrading process, I discover a lot of issues and I have to check every file in the APP which provide me a lot of information about the APP and code structure. The main befit for me is that I can understand how my colleagues think and how they make the requirements.

Please note that I have finished "Aramco checkup" BRD and the bussniess team has set deployment date for Friday of next week so kindly note of the following:

1- I made changes in Edge Wepapp, Edge Middleware and Aramco Communication Service.

2- Regarding the Webapp changes, as per as requirements I created two new screens with all functionalities.

Regarding the Middleware changes, I created a new module called "Aramco-checkup" which contans all required API's.

Regading Background job, I created three new jobs in the "Aramco-checkup" module.

3- Please, we need to setup a demo with QA to explain the new functionality and new screens.

4- As per management instructions, we need to schedule this meeting within two days maximum, so they will have four to six days to complete test and we should get signed off by nex Monday of next week.

I used to travel at 7.30 AM and return back at 4 PM.

In the 1st year,I would travel with my friends who were with me at Secondry school.

I used to make friendships during my 1st and 2nd years.

This strategy has had a big effect no me because I built many friendships and relationships that have continued till now.

In my 3rd year, I would to go to the collage 3 times a week.

In my 4rh year, I started to work/ working- so I rearly went to collage.

My idea was to show them the deffrence between modules and standalone the application would be faster and has more stability and it would be easy for maintain but as I told u before no one can accept these whole changes but this time I took a desesion to make it happend then will let them decide because if Jojie doesan't accept these changes I will not make any enhancement of just even think to make our app good.

The upgrading process has been finished and I think it will go live in the production APP next month.
