Every year, the Fresno county population increases, but so do the number of homeless. Especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, many were left unemployed and struggled to make money/support their families.  

There isn't exactly one root cause for homelessness, since there are multiple causes for different people.  However, the main/root causes would be unaffordable housing for people, use of drugs/alcohol, extreme poverty, and unemployment.

easy, and I will begin this step by the end of August. however, amassing followers in the Fresno County community may take a longer period of time. Through this account, I will be posting different facts/education about homelessness, methods of prevention, and current solutions that are being developed. At the same time, I want to interact with the community through Instagram to try and find people interested in potentially volunteering.

Time: I will start step one on August 20th
and complete step one by September 20th.

Resources: For this step, I won't need too many resources. I might need a friend or two to help run the Instagram account/youtube (post pictures/facts/polls/interact with the community), as well as a person who is good with outreach. Resources: For this step, I will need multiple friends to help run the various social media accounts and manage the slack channels. By this time, we would have a group of interested people. Resources: I will need multiple friends to help run the mini project I have going on with Slack, Instagram, and youtube. However, I will also need volunteer coordinators to facilitate volunteer activities at the various shelters.
