BE YOUR BEST IN A WELCOMING EUROPE

Le lycée a accueilli du 7 au 10 octobre une délégation de trois enseignantes venant de Coesfeld en Allemagne et une délégation de trois enseignants venant d’Izola en Slovénie. L’objectif de la réunion fut de définir les modalités d’organisation des rencontres et du programme -incluant compétences professionnelles, citoyenneté européenne et ressources renouvelables- entre écoles partenaires pour les élèves de Bac Pro Hôtellerie-Restauration et de Bac Pro Métiers de la Relation Clients, pour l’année scolaire et la suivante. En outre, les enseignants internationaux ont été invités à observer certains cours et à participer à des ateliers. Les enseignants internationaux ont découvert les villes de Bourges et de Montluçon et ont pris contact avec différents partenaires lors de leur séjour. Les élèves de section Euro ont été sollicités pour toutes les activités de la semaine.

MARDI 8 OCTOBRE

Rencontre avec les enseignants et les élèves de la section hôtelière du lycée Jacques Coeur à Bourges. Visite des nouvelles cuisines, des chambres d’hôtel. Déjeuner au restaurant d’application du lycée.

Visite de la cathédrale.

Visite de la Villa Monin.

MERCREDI 9 OCTOBRE

Visite de Montluçon et découverte de sa gastronomie.

Atelier de dégustation Au bon Chocolat.

Déjeuner au Bistro du Château Saint Jean.

Session de coordination.

JEUDI 10 OCTOBRE

Observation de pratiques au lycée. Enseignement professionnel et enseignement général.

Repas au restaurant d’application du lycée.

Visite de l’Abbaye de Noirlac.

Découverte de la boulangerie Aux 3 Choux et du gâteau de voyage Isabel Godin.

10 students and 3 teachers per delegation, i.e. 20 students and 6 teachers as a whole, if a visit to the EU parliament is implemented OR 15 students and 4 or 5 teachers per delegation, i.e. 30 students and 9 teachers as a whole.

The task was to find an interesting way to introduce themselves, the company they are working with or to find an interesting way to invite you to Coesfeld or Germany.

Les échanges entre plusieurs nationalités se déroulent en anglais, langue de communication évidente. La mobilité de groupe à destination de Coesfeld en Allemagne vise à faire gagner aux élèves des compétences professionnelles, linguistiques et sociales à travers une approche consolidant la citoyenneté européenne et l'appartenance à une même génération tournée vers l'avenir. Les jeunes sont sensibilisés à plusieurs actions concernant le développement durable. L'aspect culturel de cette mobilité se décline sous différentes formes, avec des visites de lieux emblématiques de l'histoire de la construction de l'Europe, de l'histoire de la région de la Westphalie du Nord. Cette mobilité s'inscrit dans une série de trois rencontres internationales. Après une mobilité en Slovénie, l'Allemagne est le deuxième pays visité. La dernière rencontre se déroulera en France au mois de janvier 2026.

                En octobre 2024, l’équipe allemande et l’équipe slovène s’étaient rendues à Saint-Amand-Montrond en France pour mettre au point les différentes étapes du calendrier des mobilités de groupes avec élèves. Il s’agissait alors d’une réunion de coordination entre adultes permettant aux enseignants de tous les établissements de construire un calendrier d’actions et de rencontrer les équipes pédagogiques et le personnel du lycée français. 

                Unis dans la diversité, les élèves de différentes nationalités se comprennent, s’amusent ensemble et partagent dès le premier jour des moments intenses. Le projet est animé par un état d’esprit qui conjugue bienveillance et amitié. Les élèves ont échangé leurs adresses et les liens se maintiennent aujourd’hui, à distance.

The programme covers several themes and objectives: sustainable development, European citizenship and professional skills.

Exchanges between different nationalities take place in English, the obvious language of communication. The group mobility programme to Coesfeld in Germany aims to help students gain professional, linguistic and social skills through an approach that consolidates European citizenship and a sense of belonging to the same forward-looking generation. Young people are made aware of several actions concerning sustainable development. The cultural aspect of this mobility takes various forms, with visits to places that are emblematic of the history of the construction of Europe and the history of the North Westphalia region. This mobility is part of a series of three international meetings. After a mobility programme in Slovenia, Germany is the second country to be visited. The final meeting will take place in France in January 2026.

                In October 2024, the German and Slovenian teams travelled to Saint-Amand-Montrond in France to finalise the various stages of the group mobility calendar with students. This was a coordination meeting between adults, allowing teachers from all schools to draw up a calendar of activities and meet the teaching teams and staff of the French high school. 

                United in diversity, students of different nationalities understand each other, have fun together and share intense moments from day one. The project is driven by a spirit of kindness and friendship. The students exchanged addresses and the bonds remain strong today, even from a distance.

The gathering of partners from three different European countries took place in France, in Saint-Amand-Montrond, from January 26th to January 30th 2026.

On Monday, we stayed at school to get to know each other. We visited the school, we played games and communicated with other students. We also shared our favourite dessert recipes between us. Each group was composed of a French, a German and a Slovene student and we took instant photos of our groups to add to the document on which we wrote down our favourite dessert recipe.

In the afternoon, we listened to a beekeeper, she explained her work, how honey is produced and what are the advantages of eating honey everyday. She is also a jam producer. She picks up fruit locally. We had the opportunity to taste fruit and honey during a workshop organised at the vocational restaurant. That was a funny experience, as we participated in a blind taste test. I was fond of strawberry jam and Irish coffee jam. I also tasted banana and chocolate.

We also tasted golden honey, with spices, including curcuma, ginger and pepper. Another one was made with spring flowers, another one with any kind of flowers and a third one with bramble and buckwheat flowers.

On Tuesday, we went to Bourges. We experienced a virtual reality mask that helped us understand how was built the cathedral. We had to grasp tools to paint, build, sculpt or assemble glasses. We created a virtualstained-glass window.

We visited Maison Monin to taste syrups and the cathedral to discover artworks.

We had a buffet and we ate as much as we could! In the afternoon, we went shopping at Avaricum and visited the Esteve museum. The painter used vivid colours to create his paintings.

On Wednesday, we went to Chambord castle, that was a misty day. The castle was impressive. We toured the castle with a pad giving us information about the building. We ate at Bracieux and once more, we had the choice to eat what we wanted. In the afternoon, we visited Le Clos-Lucé, a place where Leonardo da Vinci lived for the last three years of his life, invited by French king François 1^er.

We visited the manor and the garden. We discovered his machines. Leonardo was a great inventor! Late in the afternoon, we went to Terres Exotiques, a boutique selling spices and we had a conference on pepper. The bravest even tasted the most powerful kinds of pepper! Some cried and choked.

The best moment i lwould ike to share with you is the meal we shared with the German students during which they learned some French words and listened to French music.
