Moreover, doing so will empower students to become leaders for action who make a signicant contribution to their local and extended communities (Magana, Henly, Murphy, Rayl, & Travis, 1996).

That has been the pathway taken for the last several decades, resulting in classrooms that are digitally rich, but innovatively poor.

A reasonable inference can be made that such capacities will arguably serve to better prepare today’s students, not only for cur- rent learning challenges but for the future learning challenges they will encounter.

We have such opportunity as educators right now. We need to practice our breathing techniques as we go forward!
