In team development, four stages are usually recognized. They are forming, storming, norming, and performing. A group always goes through these four stages of team development to achieve maximum performance.
Forming: In the first stage, roles are distributed among team members and a layout plan is made.
Storming: This stage is basically for the discussion where each members give forward their view point.
Norming: Here the team members agree to teamwork and work together for completion of the task.
Performing: The team members now discuss about additional resources for support and head forward to complete it.

The 4 Phase Model of Team Formation is quite important for the knowledge when one is getting into group projects and group works. Each stage is important in its sense. The leader of a team is expected to coordinate with team members and ensure harmony among them. In case of conflict or dissent, he is to step forward to resolve it in the best possible manner. A team is successful only when members have a sense of teamwork and tolerance for each other. Discussion and debate will lead to different scenario but the one who respects other's viewpoint can be called a team worker.

After giving an insight about my role as a player or a victim in my life, I tend to relate myself with attributes of a player. Players in life often do not give up in the most difficult time and gather all their courage after getting a blow from life. Determination and "never give-up spirit" are the governing qualities of my life. Success is the final result of a number of failures. Everything in life is gained by hard work and consistency. Players get over their emotions and feelings and have a logical approach towards life. These are some what relating to my view of life. Thus, I find my values synonymous to players.

The thinking hats are ways in which a decision is made considering different aspects. The white hat is about considering the facts and data related to a problem. The red hat is about considering feelings and intuitions while making a decision. The black hat is about considering the negative points or consequences. The yellow hat is about thinking positive consequences or benefits. The green hat is about using creativity while making decision. The blue hat is about choosing which hat is the most favorable while finalizing something.

The recent problem which I faced was regarding going to the University on reopening or not. The number of students joining the campus were quite low. The positive aspect was getting back on the track of studies. The negative aspect was the possibility of getting affected. I chose to join the University going along the thought of experiencing the college life as expected after leaving the school. The hat which I considered while making this decision was probably the Red hat, going with the excitement feeling in mind.

It was an incredible meeting with Professor Larry. The method of his talking obviously mirrored his characteristics as a leader. He arranged a great deal of things in a word to talk about with us. The characteristics in a leader, how to propel others, diverse initiative styles and models from genuine world were truly moving. The most amazing aspect of his words which I found was the way he depicted the various characteristics offering path to an alternate leader by giving illustration of Steve Jobs, Mahatma Gandhi, Margaret Thatcher. This was very relatable a reality which we overlook despite the fact that it is apparent. Various pioneers had various traits and one can't have similar qualities across the board individual. This features the need of contemplation and discovering your qualities and interests and teaching those abilities which match your tendency. I likewise discovered the manner in which he defined a boundary between rousing individuals monetarily and virtues. Some basic beliefs in a leader and the way of building yourself was very much talked about by him. The meeting was closed by inquiries by individual students and I truly like his perspective on replying. The intuitive meeting brought a ton of information about how a questioner or the person who recruits investigate the competitor. This is useful in characterizing a method of progress and improvement. The meeting was dynamic and invigorating method of learning new things.

In school time, I was given some juniors to lead in a competition of Skating held in different school. It was a leadership experience because prior to it, I haven't been to competitions with juniors and that too lead them. I helped them to know about various techniques and acknowledged them with the styles of different participants. What I found the most relatable leadership style for such sport competition was the Coaching leadership style.
A coaching leader is somebody who can rapidly perceive their colleagues' qualities, shortcomings and inspirations to assist every person with improving. This kind of leader frequently helps team mates in defining keen objectives and afterward gives customary criticism provoking activities to advance development. They're talented in setting clear assumptions and making a positive, persuading climate. This experience gave me a room for improvement on how to lead a team and manage various things.

I had a brief talk with the Head of the department who gave some suggestions regarding making of a smooth running website dealing with online delivery. What I found really attracting about the Head was his way of managing the number of people of his department who worked on different agendas. After analyzing his way of working, I got a reflection of Democratic Leadership Style in his way of working. I got an idea about how different departments operate and what kind of skills and knowledge one needs to run a company or large- scale business. This inspired me to develop some skills by observing others and working hard.

The guest talk by candida chandorkar was a stunning encounter as it edified the bulb of thought in me, she epitomizes in herself a moving and enlightening character and spurred every one of the understudies to attempt to exemplify a portion of the comparable attributes. Ms. Chandorkar principally centered around delicate abilities and explicit administration. To enlighten us concerning a decent pioneer, she took us on a drive around of her own background and what she gained from them. Beginning from India, she was moved numerous multiple times and in the proper method worked and performed well on worldwide level. At 15 years old, she began a salon and that was the pivotal occasion in her life, trailed by building a couple goodbye organizations .

The main thing that we could gain from her is to define an objective, frequently we lead an existence without an objective, dumbfounded, uninformed of what we need to accomplish. So defining an objective is vital to lead a significant and deliberate life. Solely after defining an objective and working in the direction if accomplishing it would give us extreme fulfillment.

By finishing up to the way that she had the option to educate us concerning everything since she accomplished all that and subsequently she could impact us so well, rouse us and this is identified with our course initiative and cooperation.

Last but not the least, what I enjoyed the most about the visitor talk was the conciseness identified with delicate abilities that are so significant these days for any person to find a decent line of work and in addition a decent life.

Movie: Thirteen Days

Essentially this film is an incredible history exercise. If one wants to know about the Cuban Missile Crisis- the important event of cold war, this is the movie worth watching. The film is very definite and exact despite the fact that obviously a few minutes and characters have been 'over-performed' to benefit the film and its stream and feelings.

Despite the fact that you definitely know from start till finish how this film will end, it actually is a strained film to watch. The story is developed well and makes the film truly fascinating and convincing to follow. It consummately catches the pressure of the entire emergency and truly causes you to acknowledge how close the world really went to a WW III. It makes us mindful of the way that those 13 days in history ought to consistently be recalled and utilized as an exercise for the whole world now and for eternity.

Bruce Greenwood doesn't actually look like John F Kennedy yet he's a decent entertainer, so he gets convincing enough in his job box his acting abilities. Steven Culp truly looks like Robert Kennedy and on top of that he is an extraordinary entertainer. I wasn't generally please with Kevin Costner execution however by and large he made an adequate showing. There are some more vulnerable minutes which includes his character however I find more fault in those minutes due to moralistic composed content.

Somewhat of a disillusioning part of the entire film is its style. Roger Donaldson now and again attempts to be over-imaginative and blends the film in with dark and white and shading pictures. Maybe he attempted to duplicate Oliver Stone's style? Who can say for sure.

By and large it's an awesome political film that has some extraordinary tense and significant minutes in it and furthermore works incredible as a set of experiences exercise.

Movie: The Last Samurai

The Last Samurai is a splendidly created stylish delight, filmed with supernal exhibitions from Ken Watanabe and Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise unarguably gives his best ever execution, outperforming his depiction of Jerry Maguire. His sad depiction of Nathan Algren, inspires emotion as well as looks for compassion of the watcher, who can identify with Algren's discomfit.

It is Ken Watanabe, who captures everyone's attention with his hypnotizing and impactful depiction of Katsumoto, the head of the last family of Samurai. His screen presence and conveyance is really astonishing and even dominates that of Tom Cruise, which is a commendation in itself. The scenes among Watanabe and Cruise are purely gold, portraying fluctuating sensations of antagonism, empathy and fellowship.

Watanabe's serious and amazing exhibition in which he shows a wide scope of feelings, is deserving of the pined for statuette. Watanabe's splendid depiction, entrances the watchers, yet additionally persuades the pundits of his acting capacities. The implicit worship among Algren and Taka (unpretentiously played by Koyuki), immensely adds to the magnificence of the film.

This week took us to a new kind of view of the world. The present world which changed after the Cold War, is often referred to as VUCA world- Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous world.
Leadership in VUCA World is quite a tiresome work. Some of the essential leadership traits one need to lead in this VUCA world are leading people to a common purpose, cooperating and working together to achieve this purpose and the most important of all these is the confidence to drive through the times of uncertainty. Awareness about situations and finding solutions to it is present in the leaders of this world.
