  • Laparoscopy (small camera) used for body cavity, to obtain tissue sample and not require traditional surgery 
  • Ultrasound allows 4-D images to be produced, doesn't require anesthesia and is more of an effective alternative for MRI's 
  • Telemedicine is used to treat animals without having them in a facility. This allows vet facilities to send different types of information all over the country for a second opinion of a specialist. 
  • Titanium tracheal stents is a device made out of titanium positioned inside the trachea to help the dog breath.
  • Stem cell therapy is meaning for soothing aches and pain. Yet the purpose of this treatment is to decrease inflammation and reduce pain. In dogs it’s used to treat injuries, on cata it’s used to treat oral disease.
  • 3D imaging gives veterinarians a better look at the problems instead of the images being flat.
  • Laser therapy is used to accelerate the healing process or to decrease pain.
  • Electronic medical records is a use of online medical records that has made things more efficient and easier to manage.
