Jay decided to hide in his room and not talk to anyone. This is very unhealthy as he is bottling up his feelings. He can open up to either friends or family and tell them about his worries instead of bottling his feelings up. This can allow him to release some of his feelings about the situation

Instead of breaking up through text, I believe that Jolin should have been more sincere with the break up and she should have done it face to face. Breaking up through text seems insincere and the other party may be left very confused and unsure. She could have told Jay what went wrong and why she planned to break up with him, so that he could have more closure.

Jay should spend more time with his friends and family, and open up to a trusted adult/person about his feelings and his problems. He should not stalk his ex-girlfriend in social media and should accept the fact that the relationship is over and that he needs to move on.

Some of the ways Jay used to cope with the breakup was to completely isolate himself, making a place where he do not interact with any person, not taking calls, not taking to parents. Another way was that he go do exercising, where he runs a lot. Last way he used was to stalk the ex-girlfriend. Some of these methods are, which is isolate himself and stalking, unhealthy, and Jay can talk to trusted adult like parents or to friends. However, one of his method is healthy, which he exercise, as this would allow him to create a space where he can forget the pain he has been through. In conclusion, although some of Jay's method in coping the breakup was unhealthy, he also have method which is healthy.

I think that Jolin should be aware of Jay’s feelings by at least stating the reason of why Jolin would want to break up with Jay. However, I think that a better method to break up with Jay is to tell him physically.

I think that by respectfully breaking up with the person, one should say “I am so sorry but I don’t think our relationship is working out well. Let’s break up.” Therefore, one should respect the partner’s feelings.

A way to support one who is going through a breakup is to provide sensible advices and support. Done by giving them emotional support done by communicating with them. Making them think through their thoughts so they could feel less sad about their current situation. Recommend them to talk to someone who they trust such as their parents.

They may feel angry and worried. Jay did not want to talk to anyone even though they were trying to help. This can worry them as they may think that Jay may not overcome his situation and eventually become worse. This can also anger them as he did not bother to receive help offered

Jolin should have given a reason to why she wanted to break up with Jay. She shouldn’t have ghosted him the moment she broke up with him and answer his questions so that he can accept the break up better. Breaking through text is not a good way to break up with your partner. Jolin should have met up with him and have a serious talk with him about the breakup

jay was isolating himself from the outer world and did not want to talk it out with anyone which is not healthy as as time passes, all his emotions will bottle up and he eventually will be unable to take it. jay should try to talk it out with his friends or people he is comfortable with and he trusts in order to have some suggestions on what can he do from the others or at least clear his thoughts. jay can also work on himself as the end of the relationship is his fate and he should work on himself to be a better person instead of wasting time thinking about the relationship.
