2.Since it was my off day, I left the house at 7am to attend my lesson at the local milliner to continue learning the art of hat-making, because Victorian hats are really awesome. For lunch, I had a pie at Mrs Lovett's Pie Shop on Fleet Street, where I was pestered to go for a haircut at the barber shop above. I couldn't afford it though.
3.At 1pm, like anyone who wishes to seem more like a member of the upper classes of Victorian society, I went to sit for my portrait (albeit at the cheapest painter in town). At 3pm, I approved his sketches and his progress before leaving.
4.I met my fellow assistant butlers outside the tavern, before we headed to the gambling house by 3.30pm to play several rounds of Hazard, the British Craps. I lost all my earnings for that week.
5.We returned to the tavern for several drinks at 5pm and stayed there till about 7.30pm, before reporting back to the house at 8pm for the head butler’s meeting with the Master and his wife on any updates made. After making sure the house was fully locked and ready for the family’s bedtime, the servants had their dinner, (tonight’s was an overcooked stew), before heading to bed at around 11pm.

1. First thing I do when I wake up is savour a hearty slice of fruit pie with a cup of honey. Then, I’ll prepare a basket full of meat, fruit, and bread to bring to the picnic later. After that, I'll head down to the tailor to get a dress made for myself. As I self-proclaim myself to be the wife of a knight, I am thus entitled to wear a blue velvet gown, with silk tracing the edges of my sleeves and with silver pearls as the buttons.

2. On the way to the park, I stop by the local bookstore, haggle in the market, visit the armory to check on my appearance reflected in the metal. While passing by the market, I buy a mask and stash it into my picnic basket.

3. Upon meeting up with my friends in the park, we’ll play a game of outdoor tennis before having our picnic at noon. We gossip about our husbands while we feast. I fill my bowl with strawberries, slices of apples, hazelnuts, raisin, and melon. At my friend’s insistence, I eat a salmon sandwich. I explain to them that my husband complained that I was growing too large for the door.

4. At 2 o’ clock, I walk down to the Globe to catch a play called “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”. Before entering the theatre, I put on my mask – still can’t get used to the limited vision that the mask imposes. I envy the men who can walk into the theatre freely.

5. After the play, I go to a local tavern near my house and join in their afternoon sing-along sessions. At half past five, I hurry home, realizing that I have not prepared supper for my husband. I will need time to season and cook the steak just the way he likes it.

3. Came home and got dressed for Lord Bedford's wedding. Accused husband of gaming the night before and was told to shut up,

4. Gossiped with Lady Catherine and Lady Bridget during the reception. The bride's garland fell and a huge commotion was created. Ate sweet marzipans and sang at dinner. The singing was horrible. Should have taken time to practise this morning.

5. Thanked the newlyweds, gifted them some homemade brandy and caged song birds before leaving

4. Go to the theatre, still dressed as a man. Distract Macbeth in the middle of his soliloquy. Watch as some random personis blamed for it and thrown out of theatre.

5. Before going to bed, reread love letters, burn the bad ones and consider sending the best one.

1. Breakfast of wheat bread and rhenish (who says you can't get drunk in the morning!)

2. Write notes to people "My humble duty remembered, I have a man to marry today! Hope to see you tonight at dinner on such short notice! We have plenty of potato and tomato stew! Thus I commit you to god's good protection making your way here. From Hampton Court the 2d of January 1592. Your very assuredly drunk friend"

3. Make my way to Gutherons Lane to get my husband-to-be a ring! In proposing to me he seems to have forgotten about his own! How am I wedding such a muddled man! Dear me.

4. I find the husband-to-be and we design an elaborate masque. After all, what are weddings for if not for show! May our dear friends be utterly entertained!

5. We are wedded in an elaborate ceremony way past noon. I hope that doesn't mean we're unlucky. Lord bless us with children aplenty!

1. Wake up in the morning to the sound of the cock. Have breakfast downstairs with my wife and two children. I used to have many more children but they all died soon after birth.

2. Start ploughing my potato farm. I get my kids to help me, I can't afford to send them to school anyway. It is strenuous work and my back is very painful.

3. Take a break from work for lunch. I can only eat what I plant, so every single day it is potatoes. Most of the time theres not even any sauce!

4. Tend to my wife and children in the evening. There's not much entertainment in this part of Elizabethan England, so we play our own hand games, like scissors paper stone or chopsticks.

5. Go to bed once its totally dark. I ask the wife how was her day. I love my wife and I love my life!

3. As I am a huge fanatic of gold items, I go to the goldsmith's for some gold. When I see the goldsmith, he would point to his gold products and tell me "Gold, Smith! Gold!" That's gold for a joke. 4. Returning home, I tip my house servants generously with a few pence. They always tell me how generous I am! 5. At night, I gossip with my wife.
