Not necessarily. I mean, people could move up in classes every once in a while in America, and the leaders are higher up than the priests, but either way, the main point to take away is that in American we're born into a hierarchical systematic way of life where so many have so little and so few have so much, which is in and of itself is really just like India's caste system. Of course, like with anything, fine tuning brings up a lot of differences, but in the general description of things like these, a lot of democratic systems like America and those found similar to it such as India are close to the same.

The caste system of India and the system in the U.S are similar in many ways, such as the fact that there is a social hierarchy in the government, people have specific roles, and many people don't like talking about the untouchables or in the U.S homeless people. A difference that both of them have is that you can go to different classes, choose what role you want in society, and most people don't get discriminated so publicly.
