I discover that this process is really beneficial in narrowing down the issues that the pupils are facing in their writing. I think the intervention that we have planned out would be a less daunting task for the target group compared to their normal writing activity. However, some pupils may struggle with the steps as well as differentiating nouns and verbs but I'm positive that they'll gain something from the activities.

One of the advantages of this approach is the ease with which we as teachers can identify areas to focus on to help pupils to achieve the final goal of being able to use English whether verbally or in writing.
One of the possible challenges that may be faced may be in relation to the class size. Using such an approach allows the teacher to identify the target group. Just a quick reminder of what to do and what to bring for the Phase 2 workshop.

A. TO DO: CONDUCT SIMPLE POST TEST

Please finish your interventions and conduct your post tests based on the gaps you have identified in your data analysis. Kudos to those who have completed their interventions and done their post tests.

B. TO BRING

1. Materials used during the interventions. (Worksheets, teaching aids, etc)

2. Pictures taken during the intervention sessions.

3. Your personal laptop computer & extension wire.

4. Marked answer scripts from pre and post-tests (Pre-test and Post-test must be from same set of students)

Please be prepared to do another round of data analysis. You will be writing a brief report of your process. Attached below is the intervention report format.
