         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>May the Fighter By: Dynesty Floyd&nbsp;</div><div>I saw someone very inspirational one day,</div><div>And only fighters would understand the chore;</div><div>It was a fighter falling to her knees to pray,</div><div>And the unbearable struggle was no more.</div><div><br></div><div>Yet there is still some hurt,</div><div>In a tough day you may be blued;</div><div>And though pain and struggle she felt,</div><div>She had fought until she was renewed.</div><div><br></div><div>The people were asking to be lead,</div><div>And to be treated as one;</div><div>`Oh, for I haven’t finished my own journey the young fighter said,</div><div>Alas! I will teach you once I’ve won.</div><div><br></div><div>She viewed her fight as to hard to bare,</div><div>She said (I wish my fight was already due),</div><div>`Tis I’ll fight on and my story, i'll share,</div><div>But, not everyone will love her, this she knew.</div><div><br></div><div>O then, she fought on until she shined bright as day</div><div>But see after, her life was extremely bliss,</div><div>That even when her hairs turned grey</div><div>She fought until she got through this.</div><div>And what’s in store she may not know</div><div>She will always fight for what’s right any day,</div><div>While others may give up, though</div><div>Around me I see a fighters as strong as May</div><div><br>&nbsp;The poem I imitated is called Poverty by Jane Taylor&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Silence V.S Nothing- By Yuliana Torres</strong></div><div><br><br></div><div>The human sponge captures sunlight</div><div>Resulting in a toast</div><div>Spectacles sizes like the sun, asking silently,</div><div>To the walking money.</div><div>Dirtying the sidewalks,</div><div>Barely covered with clothes.</div><div>The color of blood shined on their only source of transportation</div><div>Viciously investigating for a open door</div><div>An exit simply to lead to the better life.</div><div><br></div><div>People who only speak for help, fear is near</div><div>Fear, not pleasant to have&nbsp;</div><div>Hidden in the latched gates</div><div>Dangered to come across a new being</div><div>Disagreeing with the opinion of them standing by us.</div><div>Afraid of your doings,</div><div>The ones you abuse in the a mad cruel action.</div><div>Comparing them to the floor you walk on</div><div>This is where you stomp on.</div><div><br><br></div><div>Beautiful paint, leaving humans in need</div><div>Need, knocks out tranquility</div><div>Tranquility subtracts needs</div><div>Producing fairness that should be a priority.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br>&nbsp;This poem was inspired by Sonali Shah's poem, "Peace Or Poverty".</div>]]></description>
