1. The first effect of peer pressure is it causes an individual to lose confidence and self-esteem. This can lead to depression as they will feel ashamed and guilty towards family. They will also have the tendency to give up  doing things and tasks. As a result, peer pressure will make a person lose confidence and it will lower their self -esteem.

2.In addition, peer pressure can causes various health problems. They will suffer from eating disorders and they will develop bad eating habits.
