Stefanny Parra Zamudio – 428545

Angie Nicol Guzmán Urrego – 428542

Stefanny:

Hi, how are you? How are things at home?

Angie:

Fine, thanks. At home they're my parents, my little sister, and my dog Milo. There aren't many of us, but we're very close.

Stefanny:

Ah, how nice. I live with my parents, my sister, two brothers, my sister-in-law, and my nephew. It's a very full house!

Angie:

Oh yes! I don't know them that well, tell me more about them.

Stefanny:

My mom is 47 and my dad is 45, and they both work independently. My sister is 19 and studies at SENA. She loves to get dressed up, wear makeup, and always has the most unusual nail designs. I have a 27-year-old brother who is an accountant and an older brother who is 31 and works as a courier for a law firm. Then there's my sister-in-law, who is 25 and works in administration.

Angie:

What a big family! And your nephew?

Stefanny:

He's the favorite. He's almost two years old, dark-skinned, with straight, dark hair. He's super outgoing and talks to everyone without fear. Sometimes he's even too confident.

Angie:

Hahaha, I can imagine. In my case, my dad is tall, chubby, and has short hair. He loves the blue color; even our car and motorcycle are that color. My mom is short, with long black hair; she likes to be comfortable and also watches a lot of science programs. And my little sister is skinny, dark-skinned, with very long black hair. She and my dad spend their time watching movies and series.

Stefanny:

That's cool! I like that you're so close. With so many people at home, we don’t always get along, but we still share a lot of moments.

Angie:

Yes, I can tell. Tell me, what do you like to do in your free time?

Stefanny:

Mainly read. I love fantasy, romance, and thriller books. I always carry one in my bag, even if I don't have time to read it. I also listen to music almost all day long. I like discovering new releases, and when I'm not listening to music, I listen to podcasts.

Angie:

That's great! I read too, but I prefer horror and mystery. I love feeling suspense. I also like to paint anything, but using lots of colors.

Stefanny:

Oh, I couldn't handle horror, it creeps me out. But painting sounds relaxing.

Angie:

Yes, very much so. I also watch series and movies, especially if they're mysteries, or listen to podcasts about strange or paranormal stories.

Stefanny:

Hahaha, you're definitely the expert on mysteries and I'm the expert on fantasy worlds.

Angie:

Exactly. We also have in common reading and listening to podcasts.

Stefanny:

Yeah, totally. Hey, where do you have your books?

Angie:

Mostly in mi bedroom. In here there is a bed, there is a closet, there is a dressing table for my makeup, there is a desk where I study, there is a TV, and there are a bunch of stuffed animals that are my favorites.

Stefanny:

Hahaha, it sounds very cozy. Mine is a little different: There is a bed with a headboard, there are my anime posters on the wall, there are two shelves full of things like stuffed animals, ceramic figures, and a projector. Also there is my TV, there is my Xbox and the one of the most important things in my room there is a ukulele that I'm learning to play.

Angie:

Wow! Your room looks like a mix of entertainment and hobbies.

Stefanny:

Yeah, I try to always have a part of something that I like.

Angie:

Me too. My favorite place is my desk, because that's where I paint or read in peace.

Stefanny:

Mine is the shelves, because there are my books and things that remind me of special moments.

Angie:

Even though our rooms are different, in the end, they're both spaces where we spend a lot of time doing what we like.

Stefanny:

Yes, totally. I think our hobbies and families show that too: everyone has their own style, but in the end, they make us happy.

Angie:

Exactly, and that's what matters.
