Location—> Current China
Ming dynasty—> overthrew mongols and they were stable for 300 years
Qing dynasty—> Manchu the ruler established this dynasty and during this time korea and japan were developing too 1644-1911.
The emperor kangxi ruled qing dynasty from 1661-1722. Stability and expansion was established during his time, he expanded to taiwan mongolia central asia and joining these countries into the empire and also protected tibet which is now a north land in india and this reflected on china’s control nowadays.

The emperor Qianlong he was a poet and was know for his art and calligraphy. The tax collections were at an all-time high. He intiated militarily concentration camps which lead to annextion Xinjiang accompanied by the mass killing of the local muslims abd till this day muslims are fighting for their freedom from these concentration camps. Uighurs were the local muslims that lived in china, they were never able to express their religionand traditions due to the dominance of the chinese culture. Furthermore, Qianlong started to send armies to Tibet to control them, and the campaign was successful and the were forced to submit to the chinese rule. But other campaigns weren’t successful.

There was alot of conflicts with the west. China had a lot of connections and trading with Europe but the British were not satisfied with the limited privileges that Chyna traded with them so in 1793 they asked for more trading rights but the emperor Qianlong responded that China does not need Europe’s trading anymore or manufacturing goods anymore. that affected their bureaucratic system and it was destroyed completely evidently taxes were high and people wanted the ming dynasty back so the peasants started an organization called White Lotus rebellion but ditching government brutally killed around 100,000 peasants.
