  • Shauzia (Shafiq): Protagonist, Dynamic                                                                 Shauzia also dig bones for the first time to earn money. She is nice and courageous. She changes through the things she does.
  • Tea boys: Protagonist, Static                                                                                  The tea boys are always wanting to earn money so they do whatever it takes to earn money. That way they did not change.
  • Parvana’s mother: Protagonist, Static                                                              Parvana’s mother always welcomes guests and is angry when her children say or do bad things. She stays that same through out the chapters.
  • Nooria: Protagonist, Flat                                                                                                    Nooria is always grumpy and stays the same through most of the story.
  • The Bone Broker: Protagonist, Static.                                                                        The bone broker wants bones so he buys them from people who dig the bones. The bone broker doesn't change in the chapter
  • Mrs.Weera: Protagonist, Round                                                                                      Mrs.Weera is nice although she is a PE teacher. She is also good is studies.
