I enjoyed the English Olympics 2024 with my friends. First, I had fun watching the three films prepared by the English major students in ECCinema, especially because each film has a different story to tell. Lastly, aside from gaining new knowledge on how to teach poetry, we were also able to write our own poem because of the Seminar-Workshop prepared by the ECC.

Participating in the English Olympics 2024 was an incredible journey for me. Crafting my own poem was a deeply personal and rewarding experience. I also gained valuable insights into teaching poetry, which I'm excited to apply in the future. And the ECCinema was a highlight - watching three captivating films was the perfect way to unwind and get inspired by different storytelling techniques. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience that has left a lasting impression on me.

I had so much fun celebrating the EO 2024 with my friends, fellow officers and even my co-english majors. My heart is so happy as well for I got the chance to be one of the masters of ceremonies in the Seminar-Workshop. Lastly, I enjoyed watching the films produced by my fellow students as it showcased what skills and talent each English major student has. The EO 2024 was indeed a blast! ♡

It was all fun and games until I was chosen to sing a song I barely knew, but I managed nevertheless lol. The English Olympics was a blast. I especially enjoyed the seminar because of how informative and timely it was—it was perfect timing for our upcoming demo teaching of poetry. The competitions allowed me to meet new people and make new friends, and the showing of the three films at ECCinema also expanded my horizons in filmmaking and storytelling.

ENGLISH OLYMPICS, SAUR MABANGIS!

Shooting and editing film is one of the most enjoyable events in the EO2024. I didn't know that I would contribute something to our film. Though it wasn't included in the spotlight, the knowledge we acquired, the new experiences we shared, and the inclusive friends I have, are all that matters. We shared so much pain, cries, worries, discouragement, laughs, and friendship, we didn't know we were already manifesting the EO2024's theme.

Nevertheless, I also enjoyed the Spelling Bee. We, as the audience deliberated on how these words should be spelled correctly. Mind you, some or all of the words are hard to spell out.

All in all, the success of the EO would boil down to the hardwork of the officers especially their president. I know you have been through hard times but look at what you did, your hard work paid off well. Hats off, Pres.!
