Hello!!! I am Princess Joy M. Mangaya 20 years old, I was born on October 19, 2003 in Aurora, San Francisco Province of Quezon. My father died when I was 15 while my mother has a second family. I have two brothers and a half sister. I am the eldest. I like and love hiking, sports,gardening, reading books , watching movies, writing,painting and music. It makes me calm, the comfort of the sea waves and the sunset while also going to church. I like doing these things alone.They say I'm spoiled and weird but it's true . While growing up I didn't like people because of the noise around me. I am always using self isolation. I love being alone but I also like being with someone that knows my feelings even if I don't speak about it. Sometimes I don't like to talk, I don't want to bother anyone's life. I grew up in a family full of love and support but even though I am not able to share my thoughts and feelings with them, I was scared that they don't understand what I am facing. They only knew that I was happy but it's not. Honestly, In my life I always wanted to live a quiet life far away from the noise of the city, far away from the people in it. I know it's weird but it is what my heart desires. I also believe that GOD knows what is best for me , that God has always a better plan . Like Isaiah 60:22 says, " When the time is right I, The Lord, will make it happen.” and I believe that.

Traditional Filipino games or indigenous games in the Philippines (Tagalog: Laro ng Lahi) are games that are played across multiple generations, usually using native materials or instruments. In the Philippines, due to limited resources for toys, children usually invent games that do not require anything but players.

What is the purpose of traditional games?

Traditional Games help children learn social rules and ethics more easily. They learn social rules such as respecting others, protecting their rights, and helping other people. They also learn how to make a decision and then apply it, as well as how to cooperate with each other.

Today, my group mates and I are having a collaborative activity. We study and plan about the game that will be assigned to our group. The game is called Tiyakad. It is using bamboo stilts .But Because we don't have bamboo stilts Ma'am Dasco changed it to using a coconut shell. That is why now the game we call it sangkayaw. Sangkayaw teams race by walking on coconut shell stilts to a goal line and back. It probably came from Central Luzon. I am confident that it will be easy because it's one of the games that are part of our childhood memories.

Today, I was so excited for our first activity in this subject. After the discussion and demonstration We played a game known as patintero, tumbang preso, sangkayaw and culliot. While we were doing all the games I felt like I was a kid again and I observed my classmate. I saw in every one the smile and joy in their eyes. I am sure that everyone will enjoy every single game and they miss this kind of game playing under the sun . Hope our inner child will be happy and proud of one of us.

Our group is having a collaborative activity about luksong tinik and luksong baka . We search and share our knowledge to each other about this game and we plan what we are doing the next day for our activity.

When the class started we discussed and demonstrated how well the game played. The game is known as luksong tinik ( jumping over the torn) and luksong baka (jumping over the cow).The game today is so challenging we need to run fast and jump high while using our critical thinking. While we played , we laughed because we couldn't jump the height that we expected.

For this week our collaborative activity is about the game coming to our province or originated to our province. It's the easy one among all the games that we played in the past few weeks . It's because since we were kids we have played some games and we grew up playing those games . I am so excited to share what games we will play in our province

Today we play a game came to our province . The games give us a chance to mesmerize our childhood memories. I feel so much joy that I can't express it through this word . It's been a long time since I've felt this joy, the smile that reaches my ears that doesn't bear the tiredness and warmth that I feel.

Today we will have the last activity in this subject and we called this culminating activity with the other class. We have four groups to play against, it's funny because we lost but we are happy with everything we played even though we failed but we learned to be patient, be fair, be good and help each other especially when someone is hurt and stumbles. We accept defeat while applauding the success of others even if we lose but I learned that in the end it doesn't matter if you win, what's more important is to learn, get up and fight fairly without hurting others.

Today, while I was recalling all the happenings in my summer class. I felt overwhelmed and emotional because it's my last journal for this subject but I was happy and I know my inner child is so proud of me. because of this subject it's like I was brought back to my childhood. Even though the place was different, my friends were different, but I felt free again. Even for a moment, I was brought back to a place where I couldn't handle the fatigue, the heat that even my body felt like it was going to collapse, brought me back to where I was. where I felt that I was not alone and I said that it was good to be young again. I wish I was young again, that's why I'm so thankful to Ma'am Dasco for introducing this subject, for guiding us, for helping us as much as she can, for cheering us on and giving us courage. This subject wakes up our childhood memories through all the games we played. I also want to say thankyou to all my classmates for being my playmates even though we often don't understand each other and we face so many challenges, injury while playing, patience and teamwork dominate in the end.the memories that I will make in this subject will always be in my heart. This is the one of the best summers I ever had in my life . All I learned in this subject I will share with others
