Aladdin meets Jasmine but runs into the people after him, and he gets kidnapped. Jafar is disguised as an old man in the dungeon and proposes the idea of obtaining treasure to impress Jasmine.

The Call to Adventure

Aladdin meets Jasmine and falls in love with her. He finds out she's the princess and is troubled by how he "will never see her again".

The Road of Trials

Aladdin enters the lion's mouth and finds the lamp, but Abu touches treasure. Aladdin has to escape with the magic carpet. However, when he's hanging on the cliff right before the exit, he discovers the old man (Jafar) is not who he seems. Jafar kicks him off the edge and the magic carpet saves him, and Aladdin is devastated from his loss of the lamp and being trapped. He is also faced with the challenge of Jasmine not liking him as a prince.

Genie saves Aladdin after he almost drowned from the people after him (plus Jafar). Genie also encouraged him to tell the truth to Jasmine and to go up and talk to her.

Due to the law, Aladdin can't marry Jasmine. He has to make a decision on whether or not to make his final wish on her or for the Genie.

Aladdin's truth is revealed of not being a prince and he sets out for Jafar. He ends up beating Jafar and saves Jasmine, and Jafar is trapped for eternity.

Rescue from Without

The Sultan (Jasmine's father) solves the issue between Jasmine and Aladdin and rewrites the law. He makes it possible for them to marry, and changes it so that any future princesses can marry whomever they deem fit.

The Crossing or Return Threshold

Aladdin realizes he doesn't want to pretend to be a prince anymore and chooses to set Genie free. He has come totally clean with Jasmine and chooses to not wear a mask anymore.

The Magic Flight
