1. I think that the most powerful person in this play so far is the Prince Escales because he is the prince of Verona. He has power of Verona, he basically can decide things around in Verona. For instance, like how he had banish Romeo because of the murder of Tybalt.
2. There were many metaphors that Shakespeare had used for us to have a better understanding of Romeo's feelings toward Juliet is by comparing her to the sun, angel, star, and things that are just mostly bright. This means that Romeo is saying that Juliet is warm, bright, and beautiful.

First, he uses the word sun, in lots of cultures, sun symbolizes warm, brightness, and justice, and moon star symbolize beautifulness and romantic, that would definitely make have a better think of Juliet when Romeo uses the word like this.

I think this because he has power over all of Verona, he gets to choose the fate of the citizens. He was also the one to sentence Romeo to banishment from Verona.

2. A few metaphors Shakespeare uses is the sun, stars, and things that are bright. I think that Romeo uses these words to describe his mutual relationship with Juliet and it helps us to understand his feelings better because it is obvious that it would be a compliment for someone if you compare them to something as bright as the sun or stars.

This is because he can tell anyone in his kingdom to do anything, and they must oblige. As well, he can exile or sentence the person to death if he feels their crime is that bad. Another reason is that, he can do almost anything he wants and can get away with it.

2. Two metaphors that Shakespeare uses to describe Juliet are, angel and sun. Shakespeare uses these words because he is trying to match Juliet with something. That something is brightness. An angel can be bright and the sun is bright. The first metaphor pick was when, Romeo called Juliet the sun, when they were talking at the balcony talking after the party. The next metaphor was when Romeo called Juliet was a angel. This again happened at the balcony sense

Taya 1.) So far in the play I believe that Prince Escales is the most powerful person. I feel that Prince Escales is the most powerful person because he controls everything that happens in Verona. For example, after both Mercutio, and Tybalt are killed, the Prince decides to write Romeo’s own fate for him, and banishes him from Verona. 2.) Romeo uses a lot of metaphors to describe Juliet. One example, is when Romeo refers to Juliet as the sun. Another example, is when Romeo refers to Juliet as an angel. Shakespeare uses these two words because of the power they hold. To be referred to as being as bright as the sun, would mean that Juliet almost lights up Romeo’s life. To be referred to as being an angel, would mean that Juliet is honest, beautiful, and pure.

Without the sun, we couldn’t survive. Romeo is comparing her to the sun because he can’t live without her. Angels are symbols for heaven, when you think of heaven you think of angels. I think that the most powerful person is Prince Escales because he gets to decide what happens in Verona.

2. one of them was The Sun, i think that he said that because she is so bright, beautiful, and caring for everyone. the second one was that she was an angel to show that he really did love her alot

1. So far, I believe Prince Escales is the most powerful person in the play because of the examples of power and authority he has shown so far throughout the book. Some examples are when he exiles Romeo after the incident with Mercutio and Tybalt resulting in their deaths and the part where he tells both families that their punishment would be death if they caused another riot that had happened just before then. Prince Escales controls what goes on inside the city of Verona since he is the prince of the city. This why I believe Prince Escales is the most powerful person in the play Romeo and Juliet.

2. Two metaphors that Shakespeare used to describe Juliet are words like “sun” and “angel.” Romeo uses these words because he wants us to understand how highly he thinks of Juliet. These words help us understand his feelings more and how amazing he thinks Juliet is. The words are used in a way that compliment her beauty and how glorious she is in his eyes.

What I mean by the most power is, he "controls" people.
2. Some metaphors that Shakespeare used to describe Juliet was the sun, the stars and an angel. This says that what romeo thinks of her. he thinks that she is bright and beautiful and everything about how perfect she is.
