The vejigante is character in Puerto Rico that uses a cleaned cow bladder as a balloon and chases people around the streets scaring and chasing them . The word vejigante comes from the word vejiga which means dried cow blatter. - In Brazil when you dress up for carnival you are trying to make your costume look pretty compare to Puerto Rico's carnival where you are trying to make your costume look scary
- Brazil's carnival parade is very competition based compared to Puerto Rico's carnival parade that is just for fun
