According to the book, in the ideal community people are asked not to question their families history. They are living in a colorless world where they live according to strict rules. They don’t have free will. They think they live in the “Perfect World” but they can’t see the flaws in this perfect world.

As far as I know The Giver is about a 12 year old boy Jonas who lives in a community. In that community there is no hunger, pain or starvation but also there is no color because you can choose what to wear, what job to do or who to marry. One day at school Jonas gets picked to be The Reciever and his life changes.

There is a twelve year old boy his name is Jonas. He has got a sister as well, and her name is lily. Jonas and his family live in an ideal community where’s no pain, fear and war. This family members share their feelings and emotions with each other, and that makes them keep and stay close to each other. If they have a problem they can solve it with this way. As far as i know the author was born during the world war times. In my opinion she’s inspired by this tough conditions during the war. I’m not sure but she might’ve lived in really hard conditions with full of hate, pain, racism and etc and influenced by those stuff. Maybe she didn’t live the way she wanted during her childhood.

I read this book before. I remember many things about book. ⛓I know:
There is Community with
-No pain -No memories -No choice -No colors. Only 2 people knows something about it. The Giver and The Reciver. Giver transferred The Reciver what he knows. Communities memories, pains, colors, wars and their choices.
⛓I want to learn:
I forgot something about the book. The book is like puzzle. I have missing pieces and i want to find put them back. 💥
