If you can afford Chanel I don't believe an increase in their prices will make that much of a difference unless you're someone who can't afford it but buys it anyways, then the increase may affect you more. Many of the videos were of teenagers and young adults eating the pods as a joke. These people are old enough to know that eating Tide Pods is not safe, therefore P&G are not at fault in this situation. This goes hand in hand with my opinion on that I will not stop my use of Tide Pods, because it is purely the public's fault. In this case, the company cannot be at fault because they only promoted their product for a single use, which is to clean clothes. I had not heard of the case, but I am horrified that something like this could happen whether intentional or not. That being said, I feel that Dote posting screenshot suggestions of ways to improve diversity is a great marketing tactic and effective for their customer base, considering everything that happened.
