During the Day of the Dead, a lot happens. It starts on Oct 31st and ends on Nov 2nd. For example, there are parties celebrating the lost loved ones by putting tables together with their picture and things they loved. Also, they dress up in pretty dresses or certain suits with makeup that looks like a skull and the ladies will do cute hair pieces. Another thing is they will make sugar skulls and eat together as a family. There will be music and dancing celebrating inside of crying over lost loved ones.

During the Day of the Dead, there are some specific foods they eat/make. For example, they make sugar skulls and decorate them. Some foods they eat are Tamales and Pan de muertos. They also might make some of the people who passed their favorite foods to honor them.

Joe was my uncle who was born on July 15th, 1984, and passed away on September 16th, 2022. He passed from a blood clot that killed him instantly in his sleep. He meant a lot to me, he used to always bring me to the park and play with me when I was younger. He would do anything and everything for me no matter what. I never realized how much he meant to be till he was gone. Joe was a very sweet guy he was always nice and make everyone laugh.

Joe was never a picky eater but did have some favorite foods. Some of his favorites were broccoli, pizza, Italian food, chicken noodle soup, and his mom's homemade chocolate cake.

Joe loved doing a lot of things, he was always happy to be doing things with family and friends. Some of his favorite things to do were watching wrestling, play basketball, play hockey, and listen to music. He also always would love going fishing with his dad.
