         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What is working for you and the students during the PBL process?</strong><br>Meaningful Conversation Norms worked well for teaching students how to work together.<br>Science AKS are being learned.<br>Not having to rush through AKS has been beneficial. <br>Teaching students appropriate voice levels has been effective in all areas of instruction.<br><br><br><strong>What are you finding challenging about the PBL process?<br></strong>Multiple Intelligence activity included in the Mulberry first 20 days lessons were not age appropriate-will change for next year.<br>Technology! <br>Student research process- students struggle with knowing what databases/websites to use; they also struggle with correlating the driving question with key words to use for research.<br>Student Grouping according to dynamics<strong><br><br>How do you see the PBL process affecting student learning?<br></strong>Students are working better together to achieve common learning goals.<br>PBL project is a bonus but not necessarily primary learning tool.<br><br><strong><br>Do you need any additional support? (i.e. resources or guidance in implementation)<br></strong>guidance for projects-expectations<strong><br></strong>chromebook support <strong><br><br>Having completed one full cycle of PBL, what will you change before the next PBL-cycle?<br></strong>Each day is a learning experience, and we continue to find things to work on.<br>We want to try more team building activities. This is a constant struggle with some students.<br>Need to get Skype and other type of resources on the calendar from the beginning. <br><strong><br>Additional Comments/Questions:<br><br></strong>Jan Bradley has been very helpful throughout our project/planning. <br>Sharon Amolo has been helpful for setting up our Skype chats as well as coordinating a NASA skype visit on Nov. 10. <br>We would like more opportunities for outside field trips relevant to our projects. <strong><br><br><br></strong><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What is working for you and the students during the PBL process?<br></strong>Able to work/teach at a slower pace<br>Time to spiral review<br>Opportunities to work with Jan and use materials from Buck Institute<br>More opportunities to work and learn in groups<br>Greater usage of technology <br><strong><br></strong><br><strong>What are you finding challenging about the PBL process?<br></strong>Reconnecting the first 20 days lessons/ideas/purpose to a typical day of science instruction.<strong><br></strong>Minus the pacing/STEAM activities,&nbsp; our classrooms don't feel that different when compared to our teammates<strong><br><br><br>How do you see the PBL process affecting student learning?<br></strong>More aware of how they learn and how to work with others who learn differently <br>Many students work together more frequently, assign roles, accept challenges.<strong><br><br>Do you need any additional support?
