Kids exposed to violence towards the bobo doll would copy what they saw.

That is, children learn social behavior such as aggression through the process of observation learning, it also has important implications for the effects of media violence on children.

There are two main advantage of this experimental method. Firstly, experiments can be replicated. Standardized procedures and instrcutions were used. Secondly, it allows for precise control of variables. Many variables were controlled such as the gender of the model, the age of the participant, and the time the children observed the model.
