Pinterest seemed to consist mostly of pictures and GIFS. It is great for idea boards or mood boards. Personally I don't use these often so I didn't find much use from the app. 

I did appreciate the design of the app and how easy it was to use. I noticed very soon after using Pinterest that I was seeing the same content repeatedly, which is done by the use of algorithms.

I don't think this would benefit a digital citizen as we should be reading new content and media to educate ourselves rather than view the same content that we agree with. 

I think how it allowed me to pin different pictures to pin boards was a great way to manage information in a personalised way. It was very easy to use but I didn't find it very beneficial for sharing information. I did like the layout and the freedom I had in managing the information on my pin board.

It enabled me to read articles that I wouldn't usually. I was able to recommend articles to my profile which allowed me to share information with friends. 

I also noticed features which make the platform more inclusive and accessible to a wider audience. Users are able to listen to the articles as there is an audio feature. The articles were also visually simplified making them easier to read. I was able to save articles to read later or highlight articles.

I like to believe that wen I delete something off of TikTok it has been permanently removed. But with TikTok the 'duet' feature or 'stitch' allows the video to continue circulating. TikTok allows everybody to speak their mind within reason, but this can be harmful. On an app based solely off of people creating their own videos and trends, there is a fine line between opinions and harmful ideologies. In being able to read other students work I was not only learning from my peers, but it allowed me to understand the task better.
In correcting other people's work and giving feedback, you reflect on your own work and refer to the grading rubric more frequently. I got some excellent feedback from my peers. For example I hadn't included all of my scholary references which meant that I didn't reach the criteria outlined in the brief. Without this feedback from my peer I may not have noticed this fault.
