I think this is a good reminder to work towards a better balance with work when our plates are already full. Hard to stay regulated when jumping on back to back meetings without much pause in between. Regulation also difficult when so many things feel urgent.

OSHII seems to have a "yes" culture, and it seems like this is to maintain the relationship and stay in the "regulate" part of the diagram. I think this then is tied to the expanding number of activities and innovative activities we have and we can have a hard time tying it all together with "reason" and seeing how all the activities fit together. So this makes me wonder about how can we say "no" to things and still maintain the relationship, and not be fearful that saying no will damage the relationship? I think saying "no" and setting up boundaries may help SHIP feel more manageable and also allow for more data and relationship driven decisions. How does saying "no" align, or not align with being trauma informed?

Look forward to how this intersects with white supremacy culture. I am wondering how for SHIP 6 planning, we use a trauma informed approach and not feel the sense of urgency and embrace quality over quantity?
