         <description><![CDATA[<div>https://mch.govt.nz/media-sector-support/journalism-fund<br>They did what they could in the timeframe they were given in order to keep some media companies afloat short term.&nbsp;<br>Difficult to answer as it was only meant to be a short term fix to the issue, not many other options to save the media companies.&nbsp;<br>Everyone has different ideas of the value for money but our group agreed that this would be the 'value for money'<br>Over 3 years, saved the NZ media landscape. Covid is not something that could be controlled so it was important that we supported these media outlets and kept them afloat.<br>All funding public interest journalism, productive injections of money into NZ media<br><br></div>]]></description>
