RNZ is our main public sphere, merger with privately owned TVNZ will have big ramifications.

They did what they could in the timeframe they were given in order to keep some media companies afloat short term. 
Difficult to answer as it was only meant to be a short term fix to the issue, not many other options to save the media companies. 
Everyone has different ideas of the value for money but our group agreed that this would be the 'value for money'
Over 3 years, saved the NZ media landscape. Covid is not something that could be controlled so it was important that we supported these media outlets and kept them afloat.
