Hundreds of women stuck inside the building trying to escape when most couldn't due to doors being lock so no women would be able to steal something. The scraps the women had cut over the process of two months were more fuel for the fire to overpower the women. Many tried to escape through the elevator and some even jump out of the building to escape but in the end they had planted onto the sidewalk dead. All these death could have been avoided if all the doors were unlocked and had a security guard watching them. Not only that all these women most likely didn't have a fire routine know because many of them were going through elevator to escape.
