This is essentially making less competition with other app developers. Shown within some of the data you can see how 3rd party apps such as spotify compared to apple music needs more of your data. This would make apple look like the better choice, however as much as we don't want our personal data being used sometimes its needed so while apple music might not need certain data compared to spotify on your apple iphone, apple can be collecting the same data elsewhere. By showing these types of stats they can be misleading to consumers and creating less competition.</div>]]></description>
