I agree with Source E that the way Singapore treats its migrant workers will result in having a negative impact on the country. As stated in Source E,” They stay in overcrowded dormitories and are packed like sardines with 12 persons to a room.” This suggest that migrant workers in Singapore are not being treated fairly and are instead being treated differently from singaporean citizens and this might have a negative impact on the country as migrant workers who witness and experience these treatment might not help build Singapore infrastructure in the future, which will affect Singapore development. Therefore I think Source C agrees in the way Singapore treats its migrant workers will have a negative impact on the country.

However, Source C disagrees with the statement that the way Singapore treats its migrant workers will have a negative impact on the country and source C actually states the opposite saying that Singapore cares deeply for migrant workers. As stated in Source C,” we will look after you health, your welfare and your livelihood.” This suggest that the Singapore government actually cares and provides for their migrant workers, therefore source C disagrees with the statement and that the positive way Singapore treats its migrant workers will not have a negative impact on the country.

The author in Source B would disagree with the Prime Minister in Source C about the treatment of migrant workers.
In Source B, migrant workers are shown trapped in a pot labelled "Denied medical," "Exploited," with an authority figure ignoring them and saying "Stay there and do not loiter or I will fine you."This suggests that migrant workers are mistreated and neglected, contradicting Source C where the Prime Minister promises to "care for you... look after your health, welfare and livelihood," showing concern for their well-being.

However, the author might agree slightly with Source C’s acknowledgment of migrant workers. Source C thanks migrant workers for "cooperation during this difficult period" and mentions arrangements for Ramadan celebrations.
This shows recognition of migrant workers’ contributions and cultural needs, which may align with the authors intention to highlight their plight, even though the author focuses more on neglect and exploitation.

I agree with Source C as it suggests that Singapore's treatment of migrant workers does not have a negative impact. It shows that the government acknowledges the contributions of migrant workers and expresses care and responsibility for their well-being. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong clearly states, “We will care for you, just like we care for Singaporeans,” and assures that their health, welfare, and livelihood will be looked after.

This includes making sure they get paid, stay connected with their families, and have proper arrangements for religious observance.

In source B, it shows two migrants being in a bin asking for help but the Singaporean said "to stay there and do not loiter, or I will fine you". Source D says that, “ Their living habits will accompany them, such as eating with their hands, eating under the trees and on the grass, gathering together to drink and chat “ this shows that most of the migrant workers brought their living habits over from their countries
