One day, people will stop destroying this planet. We are polluting the water and air, killing wildlife, ect. I think that my dream is important because if we keep this up, soon there will be no planet. It will just be a big clump of atoms. Scientists estimate that in 2050, our water will be brown. So when you throw plastic in the garbage bin and not the recycling bin, think to yourself that that choice you just made will cost you a breath, another meal and a shorter life.

In the news, there are all sorts of tiny things that nobody really cares about. Advertisements, weather, the fact that someone swiped a candy bar from a stranger, all that garbage. Yet nobody addresses the humongous crisis right in front of their faces! Many people are addressing this issue saying ‘ Soon enough, global warming and pollution will lead to really, really serious problems, and we should try to protect our earth’. But nooo. Most of the inhabitants on earth just ignore our warnings and think ‘Meh. Just more news junk that everyone should completely dismiss. Besides, if these dumb little cautions actually count, we can always do the things that they recommend later’. Everyone ought to understand! THERE MIGHT NOT BE A LATER IF WE DON’T CLEAN UP OUR EARTH NOW! So, if anyone here will gladly address this issue, you can easily use other things instead of the ‘necessities’ that harm our environment. For instance, you could use bamboo rather than plastic. Bamboo doesn’t radiate harmful chemicals into the atmosphere as plastic does. Or people could even use PLA! PLA is a fantastic replacement for plastic. It works the same, is biodegradable, and is eco-friendly! But people don’t even have to go that far. They can merely turn off the lights when they step out of a space. Or while brushing their teeth, turning off the water when they don’t really need it.  You know, even throwing out a bottle into a recycling bin, or having two individual trash bins in your house (one for trash and one for recycling) can help the environment.  I would like people to at least try! So, the next time you walk out of a room, or you are about to throw out a bottle, think. Is this benefiting my atmosphere? Am I doing the honorable thing to do? I have a dream that all the children in this world will be able to live in this world without having to listen to the disrespect on the news and the hurting of  kids like them.
