Ideas for using FRAMEs - I love using a FRAME as a guided reading in the textbook. We use the reading title and “it matters because” from the book to fill in F, the chunked reading titles as the main ideas, and then for the supporting details, I put questions in the boxes that students answer while they read. I’ve noticed a lot of success using the FRAME as a guided reading, my kids can organize their thoughts better and they aren’t as apprehensive to read if they’re being lead step by step via the FRAME! It’s great for not only reading skills, but independent work as well
