Megalopolis:</strong><br><strong><sup>-Onstream:</sup></strong><sup> </sup><strong><sup>four component -toward economic diversification</sup></strong><sup>: Gas-clean energy’+ small industries + ‘smart agriculture’ + Sustainable Tourism'<br></sup><strong><sup>Off-stream</sup></strong><sup> : small-scale projects &amp; strategies 'small is beautiful'. This entails social innovations.  <br></sup><strong>Which stakeholders have been historically underrepresented? <br></strong><br><sup>- local communities, small business CSOs, new/green/digitalised economic actors in lifestood production, agriculture and tourism. </sup><br><strong><sup>- Discussion</sup></strong><sup>: would large scale renewables projects be off-stream ? and how we decide to classify one or the other?<br></sup><strong><em><sup>The main difference related to the governance structure and dynamics of the two strategies</sup></em></strong><sup>. The off-stream is de-centralised and supporting local economies/stakeholders, while the on-stream is concentrated and using more a BaU governance strategy.&nbsp;<br>This entails a kind of more transformative tipping point - a full change in regional configuration, such economic diversification entails also a new way of governnace.&nbsp;</sup></div>]]></description>
