This way, he will still be able to do his homework. He should also be honest and tell his teacher that he lost his homework in the first place. He could also challenge himself, he could ask his friend NOT to give him the answers next time, so that he will teach himself to not forget his homework. Honestly is very important in school, if you are caught cheating or something, you may get your grade taken away, and if you only copy answers without showing the work done, the teachers will know if you copied because they won't see the work you did.
