Mixed method approach: A research method that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches, often used to understand the effects of technology in education.

Digital Citizenship: The usual of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to technology use, an important aspect of technology education.

1.The study by Sulzenbruck indicated that frequent computer use could affect changes in basic cognitive skills, impacting fine motor development.

2.Teachers encourage handwriting to promote more active thinking, synthesizing, and editing, suggesting that exclusive use of technology might limit these skills.

3.The reliance on technology for writing and other tasks raises concerns about the potential decline in problem-solving abilities that traditionally come with more hands-on activities.

1.One challenge for teachers is managing the time students spend on technology, ensuring it's used for educational purposes and not personal distractions.

Employing technology for research and collaborative projects while maintaining conventional methods for foundational teaching can optimize learning outcomes.

Reflecting on the research process for Project 3, which focused on implementing technology in education, several points stood out to me while doing research.What surprised me most was the big impact of technology on different aspects of education. Initially, I thought the focus was to be primarily on how technology enhances learning. However, after researching the article showed a lot  of effects, from motivational and engagement benefits to potential negative impacts on fundamental skills like handwriting and fine motor skills. This broad scope of influence was both enlightening and difficult to grasp .The most interesting and rewarding aspect of the research was uncovering the balance needed between traditional teaching methods and modern technological approaches. The article highlighted that while technology can be a significant asset in education, it's crucial to maintain a place with traditional educational values and practices. This insight was particularly fascinating, as it speaks to the evolving nature of education in the digital age. Challenges that showed up  included synthesizing the varied opinions and findings into a cohesive understanding. At times, the information seemed contradictory, presenting both benefits and drawbacks of technology in education. However, I felt ready with the necessary analytical skills to navigate these challenges. The process involved critical thinking and an open-minded approach to the complexities presented in the article and the topic. Moving forward, I am eager to learn more about the long-term impacts of technology on student development. Specifically, how does consistent exposure to technology from a young age shape cognitive and social skills? Understanding this could provide valuable insights into future educational strategies and policy development.
