Answer: At the Equator,the earth's rotational motion is at its fastest, about a thousand miles an hour. If that motion suddenly stopped, the momuntem would send thing flying eastward.Moving rock ocean would trigger earthquakes and tsunamis.The still moving atmosphere would scour landscapes.

Answer:

Revolution is the term used to describe the path (or orbit) of Earth through space. Earth's revolution around the sun is responsible for seasonal change and leap years. This path is shaped like an ellipse and has points when Earth is closer to the sun and farther from it.

2. Why the earth revolution is important to us?
Answer:

The revolution of the Earth on its axis is important in setting up the seasons i.e. spring, summer, fall and winter seasons The direction of Earth's revolution is in the direction of its rotation. Because the path around the sun is not circular, we are closer to the sun at a certain time of the year.

3. What will happen if there is no revolution?

Answer:
If there is no revolution then one part of the earth will be very hot and scorching the sun while the other side will be freezing cold night.
