Facilitating a successful and relevant micro dilemma protocol to help others!

I do want to practice day one then move to day 2 and so on to be able to present to my 3 mentors then to the staff. I really think this might be the missing link our school needs.

Establishing a protocol, setting agreements, using probing questions and clarifying questions.

I have learned alot from this training, but one thing I may plan to definitely use is the compass points activity. I may use it during a staff meeting as an effort for all of us to get to know one another better and understand our reasons for our actions.

I learn how to use probing questions more when formulating solutions to dilemma. This takes me out of my comfort zone of asking clarifying questions leading into immediate and quick solutions. This approach comes from my awareness of the use of time or the limited amount of time for resolutions of any situation. I see a need to take the time to follow the steps of asking clarifying questions then do the probing questions. This result in the production of a meaningful and long-lasting remedies.

Our lessons are now even better because of the students feedback.

I have also worked more on probing questions. It is better than before.

I also used it in my department because we have a new teacher that is struggling and he seems uncomfortable to talk about his struggles. Even though we (another teacher who took this training) gave a sort of crash course in dilemma protocol and it was not as refined as our practice, I received some great ideas.
Then I used the Fears and Hopes exercise with that class and it went really well. Students were engaged and motivated. However, I plan on setting up a PLC meeting with my same grade level teacher to discuss our curriculum and pacing. I have some hesitance about going through with this because I've heard that she doesn't like people and she just keeps to herself. She doesn't interact with other teachers. I had a sub and one of the students had a meltdown. 

I pulled the student aside the next day when I was back in the classroom. 

I asked the student some questions about what happened the day before. One on one conversation. The student said, He became frustrated. 
The next day as a class we I presented how they can help each other. They said they can help each other. Then I developed a big and small pair. 2nd with 1st or 2nd with a kinder. I have a k-2 class with 6 students.
