Hello, my name is Thanh Nguyen. I'm from Vietnam. I'm majoring in MUSIC. This is my second semester at CSU Fullerton.

Why am I taking EDSC 320 and my goals for this course:

- It's important to help me obtain my teaching credential.

- I think this class will be great and helpful for my teaching career in the future as a music teacher.

- I hope I can gain more knowledge and have better understandings in order to interact with adolescents.

- I hope I'll have good experiences and improve my skills during this class although I think it's really challenged for me.

My Hobby

- I like to take pictures, and I also love to be a model. ^_^

- I like reading books, especially psychological books. My favorite author is Spencer Johnson.

- I like traveling. I hope someday I can go to Hongkong, Paris, London, and Vernice. I also love to go back to my country, Vietnam.

- When I have free time, I like to go shopping, eating. I love sushi, BBQ, Vietnamese and Thai foods, etc.

- I also like to practice drawing. I like watching movies, but I don't usually go to the cinema.

I'm a former OCC student. I've changed my major for 3 times. I started with Business Administrations, then I changed to Interior Design. Finally, Music is my last choice. I didn't like to be a Music-major student at first because I thought it's not really a major. I thought it's just for entertainment. However, I realized that only studying or working on music could make me show my abilities the best. I love the OCC Music Department. I miss my teachers, my choirs, and my friends there!

VCSA (Vietnamese Catholic Student Associations)

I'm participating in the VCSA group. We usually have some great charity events to help the less fortune the homeless people. We usually practice and perform some Vietnamese musical shows for fun and raise a foundation. I'm happy to be an individual in this group.

I love my family, and I'm really closed to my family. I love any family reunion party! I rarely go out with my friends, but I usually hang out with my cousins. I love to play with little kids.

Music is the passion of my life!!!

I think my life can not be complete without music. I listen to music everyday from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I love singing and playing musical instruments. I also compose my own Vietnamese songs. I want to learn playing some more instruments in the future.
