         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div><strong>Technology-Enabled Learning in Action</strong></div><ol><li>Technology can enable personalized learning or experiences that are more engaging and relevant.The National Education Technology Plan (NETP) supports two visions.<ol><li><em>All young children will have adults in their lives who are well informed on how to use technology to support learning at various ages.</em></li><li><em>All young children will have opportunity to learn, explore, play and communicate through a multitude of approaches including the use of technology.&nbsp;</em></li></ol></li><li>Technology can help organize learning around real world challenges and project based learning using a wide variety of digital learning to show competency with concepts and content.&nbsp;</li><li>Project Based Learning: Context of authentic problems which continues over time and brings in knowledge from many subjects. THis helps students develop 21st century skills including creativity, collaboration and leadership skills to engage in real world challenges.&nbsp;<ol><li><em>The shared experience of connecting globally to read can lead to a deeper understanding of the literature but also of their peers with whom students are learning through technology globally.&nbsp;</em></li></ol></li><li>Technology can help learning move beyond the classroom and take advantage of learning opportunities available museums, libraries and other out of school settings.&nbsp;</li><li>Technology can help learners pursue passions and personal interests.&nbsp;</li><li>Technology access when equitable help close the digital divide and make transformative learning opportunities to all learners.&nbsp;</li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Personalized Learning: </strong>Allows students to control the pace of their learning and which instructional approach they prefer. <br><strong>Blended Learning:</strong> Occurs online and in person and allows students to have some control over their time, place, and pace of learning. <br><strong>Agency:</strong> Students can develop a sense of agency in their learning and the belief that they are capable of succeeding. <br><strong>Digital Citizenship</strong>: The safe, ethical, responsible and informed use of technology. <br><strong>Project Based Learning: </strong>Context of authentic problems which continues over time and brings in knowledge from many subjects.
