They helped the protagonist develope through out the story.<br>      In the short story "Never Stop On the Motorway", the youth in the black van is a flat character, he tried to help Diana through out the story, which never changed.<br>      In the story "To Build a Fire", the man was a round character because he fight for his survival and he act like a real life character.<br>      In the story "Necklace", Mrs.Loisel changed when she lose the necklace from her friend. She started to work hard and earned enough money to pay for the necklace.<br>      In the story "Fatty Legs",<br>the nun named sister Macquillan was very friendly and kind to everyone. This act of her never changed from the beginning to the end of the story.</div>]]></description>
